Easter Lilies have arrived!
It's a beautiful day on the Central Coast. I drove up to Arroyo Grande yesterday afternoon to take my son to his Bagpipe Lessons. I chose to wait in the car and read while he practiced. He takes his lessons in a home in the Rancho Development up behind Trader Joe's, and if I park correctly there is a wonderful sweeping view of the ocean. What a privilege to live on the Central California Coast. We are enjoying warm days around 74 degrees with nights in the 50's; We should be enjoying Easter on our patio and I cannot wait for the weeks ahead. The Easter Egg Hunt held by the City of Arroyo Grande and a few local businesses will be held for the 18th time on Saturday, April 7th and the forcast looks excellent.
The beautiful days are causing the gardens to bud. Our dogwood tree is filled with young, green blossoms which should be a lovely white by Easter Sunday.
Our Easter Lilies have just arrived and they are beautiful. We have potted them in whimsical spring baskets which are painted with an acrylic wash of festive spring colors of yellow, green, blue and pink. The lilies stand about 24" high with many trumpets on each spike. For the traditionalist, the Easter Lily is the gift of choice. For the non-traditionalist we have stunning orchids, azaleas, begonias and European flowering gardens.
We look forward to delivering your easter blessings to your friends and loved ones and, as always, count it a privilege to serve you.
